Sales Administrator Job Summary:

Sales Administrator Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end order processing workflow, including order entry, verification, and coordination with sales and logistics teams.
- Communicate with clients where needed address any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of orders, customer interactions, and related documentation in the company's CRM and database systems.
- Assist the sales team in preparing quotes for potential customers, ensuring accurate pricing and timely delivery estimates.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to provide administrative support, including preparing sales reports, analyzing sales data, and identifying trends.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure product availability for incoming orders.
- Address and resolve order-related issues, such as shipping delays, quality concerns, and billing discrepancies, in a timely manner.
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments, including finance, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless order execution.
- Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining accurate records.
Sales Administrator Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles, preferably within the metals or manufacturing industry.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in order processing and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and internal teams.
- Proven ability to identify and address challenges swiftly, finding practical solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in using CRM and database systems, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and other relevant software tools.
- Collaborative attitude and willingness to work closely with the sales team, as well as other departments, to achieve common goals.
- Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle a fast-paced environment with poise.
- Knowledge of the metal industry and its products (steel, aluminum, etc.) is highly desirable.
