Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Teamcenter Architect / PLM Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions. This role involves working closely with engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure PLM systems align with organizational goals and product lifecycle needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and implementation of Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and design PLM strategy and roadmap.
- Analyze existing PLM systems, identify gaps, and propose robust scalable solutions.
- Design integrations between Teamcenter and ERP, CAD, and other enterprise systems.
- Create and maintain system documentation, architecture diagrams, and design specifications.
- Guide the configuration, customization, and extension of Teamcenter modules (like BMIDE, AWC, Workflow Designer).
- Ensure adherence to best practices in PLM architecture, security, and data management.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development and support teams.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Teamcenter performance and functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8 years of experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM.
- Deep expertise in Teamcenter Unified Architecture and BMIDE.
- Strong knowledge of Teamcenter modules: Workflow, Change Management, AWC, Active Integration, etc.
- Hands-on experience with data migration, system upgrades, and integrations.
- Familiarity with CAD tools (NX, SolidWorks, etc.) and integration with Teamcenter.
- Experience in PLM system performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of PLM processes (BOM Management, Change Control, etc.).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Siemens Certified PLM Architect (if applicable).
- Experience with cloud deployments of Teamcenter (AWS/Azure).
- Background in manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or similar industry.
- Experience with scripting languages (Java, ITK, RAC, SOA, etc.).
