Mobile Pet Grooming Technician

AAA K-9 Mobile Grooming is hiring and we are looking for Qualified, Dynamic and Passionate dog groomers.

Company Overview: We are an established mobile pet grooming service seeking a caring, diligent, and experienced Mobile Dog Groomer to join our team. Our mission is to provide exceptional grooming services right at our clients' doorsteps, promoting health and wellness in the pets we care for and convenience for their owners.

Job Description: The Mobile Dog Groomer will travel to our clients' homes to provide grooming services in our fully equipped, modern mobile grooming units. The services include brushing, bathing, cutting or trimming hair, cleaning ears, trimming nails, and other grooming services to keep our clients' dogs clean, healthy, and happy.

Responsibilities:

Travel to clients’ homes to provide grooming services in our mobile grooming van.

Consult with clients to understand their pet grooming requirements and preferences.

Bathe, brush, clip, and inspect dogs in a gentle manner.

Trim dogs’ nails, clean ears, and provide any additional requested care.

Identify any issues, diseases or abnormalities and inform pet owner.

Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including all grooming tools and equipment.

Schedule grooming appointments and accept payments.

Ensure the comfort and safety of pets during grooming services.

Handle any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Professional grooming certification is preferred.

Proven experience as a pet groomer.

Strong knowledge of different breeds and their grooming needs.

Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments.

Excellent customer service skills.

Good physical stamina and agility.

Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Must be organized, punctual, and reliable.

Working Conditions: This role requires regular travel, so candidates must be comfortable spending significant time on the road. Groomers may occasionally be exposed to aggressive animals and must be able to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.

Physical Requirements: Groomers must be capable of lifting heavy equipment and pets when necessary. The role also requires long periods of standing and bending.

-We offer an alternative work week - 4 ten hour days per week.
