Purchasing assistant- Materials purchasing, tools, and safety equipment
Great communication skills to facilitate the gap from the field to the office, working directly with the Purchasing Manager,
Accounting for Processing;
Purchase Orders -ensuring all the pricing and documentation are in place before ordering material. Making all the necessary adjustments in Sage Purchasing, Data Entry, Coding, cross-referencing estimates, etc.
As a purchasing assistant, you will need to be adept at multitasking and maintaining productivity even under extreme pressure to meet deadlines with accuracy and efficiency. Your role will also involve ensuring that deadlines are met and supplying Project Managers with the necessary materials to make the transition from the field to the office as efficient, accurate, and productive as possible.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of office procedures
Education: 2-year associate degree or equivalent
Language skills: Ability to read, write, communicate in English
Computer: Excel, Outlook, Word, Sage software a plus
COMPETENCIES:
Manage, organize & update Timberline Purchasing module
Willingness to assist Purchasing, field, and office team members as needed.
Must hold a valid Arizona driver’s license and clean MVR
Computer literate: Excel, outlook, word.
Excellent organization skills, planning, dependability, and scheduling of time.
