What are the responsibilities and job description for the Media Relations Manager (Hybrid) position at AAA National?
The Media Relations Manager plays a critical role in driving visibility for the brand nationally and locally by assisting club communications teams. The responsibilities of this position include pitching industry and national media on AAA’s perspective and subject matter experts on key topics, including automotive, traffic safety / advocacy, travel, and others. The Media Relations Manager develops strategic and innovative solutions to get key messages in front of the right audiences, on the right channels, and at the right times. This position also serves as a primary contact for the national media and as a spokesperson for the Association.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with national, industry, digital media, and press.
- Acts as a primary media spokesperson, including handling / responding to interviews and press inquiries.
Proactively pitch stories to the media about AAA’s advocacy efforts, AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety research, and fuel pricing expertise about AAA.

Hiring Range : $99,000 - $115,000
This position is eligible for participation in the AAA, Inc. Annual Incentive Plan.
