Overview
Responsible for a wide range of ground-level sales activities, including qualifying and allocating leads to sales teams, and fielding travel-related inquiries submitted via AAA.com. Connects shoppers on AAA.com with the sales team to ensure prompt attention. Engages members and interacts with travel sales managers to move leads further down the funnel.
Responsibilities
Qualifies sales leads (via phone and email) by promptly identifying and contacting prospective clients to acknowledge their requests and solicit additional details. Expeditiously assigns qualified leads to travel advisors and associate travel advisors and follows up on unqualified leads and referrals in a timely manner. Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales and follow-up calls and emails, member-direct booking assignments, and sales appointment assignments.
Monitors various email inboxes and responds to member inquiries promptly and professionally.
Reviews live support chat transcripts to ensure that standards are being met and that unanswered chats are assigned to a travel advisor.
Assists with AAA.com booking issue escalations, serving as a liaison between the client and TST/and or travel provider.
Works with management to improve lead qualifying processes and informs management of real and/or perceived trends, new product and/or service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through interactions with members.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Licenses/ Certifications: High School diploma or GED required Associates/Bachelors/Masters Degree preferred Experience: 3 years Customer Service experience required 2 years Sales experience required
