Daily access to banking websites is required. The Analyst will initiate all transactions for Treasury Management's review and their online approval. Identification of issues and reconciliation of differences is ongoing with a timely resolution a strict requirement.

What You Will Do
- On a daily basis, accesses each bank’s online platforms (6 banks/30 accounts), compiles and issues (NLT 10:00 am) the Daily Cash Report to be reviewed by Treasury Management and when approved, forwards to Executive Management in Providence.
- Calculates and initiates the daily “sweep” transfer of excess funds from each individual bank account to the Club’s Main Operating account.
- Initiates daily bank transactions – ACH’s and wires – as needed for Account Payable’s payment batches. Maintains files with associated documentation and approvals. All activities must be completed in time to allow Treasury Management’s review and to meet individual bank deadlines.
- Identifies non-routine or misdirected receipt and disbursement transactions. Researches each instance with appropriate business lines, and prepare correcting entries for review by Finance & Accounting. Maintains necessary daily transaction files, bank advices and statements for support. Escalates suspicious or erroneous transactions to Treasury Management upon determination.
- Monitors Insurance Agency’s Premium Accounts (4), reconciling member payments to corresponding insurance carrier nightly “sweep” amounts. Investigates mistimed or mismatched items with agents at New York and New Jersey branches. Initiates transfers from receiving account to disbursement account. Resolves items with 48 hours.
- Receives monthly service fee charges from each of the Club’s six (6) banks. Reviews for accuracy and compliance to contract terms. Prepares trending reports for Treasury Management’s review.
- Initiates electronic payments (monthly) to government agencies, utilities and certain vendors utilizing directed websites; similarly, collects certain charges as directed: New York City - real estate taxes. PSE&G and National Grid – utilities. Bank of America - T&E P-Card payments. Fuelman – fleet and field representatives’ gasoline program. Rents – Club-owned properties (collections from tenants). Medical Insurance Premiums – retired New York Officers (collection).
- Other Recurring Activities: Reports “NSF” (No Sufficient Fund) checks to Finance & Accounting for immediate communication and rebill to the source. Addresses data requests from internal and external auditors and management. Researches check status (significantly but not limited to Member Correspondence), process STOP PAYMENTS and reissue checks when requested by Finance & Accounting or Accounts Payable. Maintains “stale check reports” and prepare annual filings in accordance with each state’s (6) escheatment laws.
- Prepare annual filings of unclaimed property with various states in a timely fashion based on data provided by Finance and Accounting. The process includes sending notifications to individuals advising they may have funds and following up on any responses. The reporting and remittance to the various states must be completed by specified due dates.
Education
- High School or GED required
- Associate's Degree Accounting required
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting preferred
- 1-2 years Relevant Treasury & Accounting required
