Summary:
Performs complex and confidential administrative, sales and customer service functions for Commercial Insurance operations.
Essential Functions
- Re-markets renewals, creates renewal proposals, and handles other renewal activities in coordination with the agent.
- Responsible for up sells and cross sell referrals on a monthly basis as defined by management.
- Offers policy review on each call and makes suggestions in the best interests of the customer and in compliance with established procedures.
- Assists agents with summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals as needed for account review. Processes and follows-up on cancellations and reinstatements to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
- Maintains knowledge of internal and external systems needed to provide customer service. Maintains knowledge of personal and/or commercial products offered.
- Provides quality customer service to customers and agents in support of agency strategic business goals. Responsible to problem solve escalated calls.
- Provide system and underwriting support for commercial agents.
- Commercial/industry related experience required.
- Extensive computer skills, Microsoft Office Package, insurance carrier and agency management systems.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Minimum five (5) years product experience and related operations experience.
- Property & Casualty license required.
- High School diploma required.
- 5 years experience in field.
