AAA seeks a highly skilled and motivated Lead MarTech Delivery Engineer to join our growing Marketing team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in building and scaling our marketing technology stack. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a wide range of marketing technologies, focusing on data engineering, event-driven architecture, and server-side tracking.

May travel by car, plane or other form of transportation to attend business meetings or conferences. Approximately 50-80 percent of the time spent on the job involves the use of a personal computer.

AAA seeks a highly skilled and motivated Lead MarTech Delivery Engineer to join our growing Marketing team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in building and scaling our marketing technology stack. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a wide range of marketing technologies, focusing on data engineering, event-driven architecture, and server-side tracking.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain API integrations: Build and maintain integrations between various marketing platforms and our backend systems using Go. This includes APIs for CRMs, marketing automation platforms, analytics tools, and other marketing technologies.
- Manage data pipelines: Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various marketing platforms into our data warehouse (PostgreSQL).
- Implement event-driven architecture: Design and implement event-driven systems using GCP Pub/Sub and NATS to enable real-time data processing and communication between marketing systems.
- Develop and maintain server-side tracking: Implement and maintain server-side tracking infrastructure to capture customer interactions, enable accurate first-party attribution, and enhance data privacy.
- Build and manage CDP integrations: Develop and maintain integrations with our Customer Data Platform (Tealium) to leverage AudienceStream, EventStream, AudienceDB, and Moments API for audience segmentation, personalization, and campaign activation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with marketing, analytics, and engineering teams to gather requirements, define solutions, and deliver impactful results.
- Contribute to agile development: Participate actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, using Jira for task management and progress tracking.
- Provide technical leadership: Lead the development team, offering guidance and mentorship while establishing and upholding best practices for MarTech development and implementation.
Required:
- Strong programming skills in Go
- Experience with data engineering and ETL processes
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Hands-on experience with GCP (Pub/Sub, Google Kubernetes Engine, etc.)
- Deep understanding of event-driven architecture, specifically with NATS
- Experience with server-side tracking and first-party attribution
- Expertise in Tealium AudienceStream, EventStream, AudienceDB, and Moments API
- Experience working in an agile development environment using Jira
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud
- Experience with other marketing automation platforms
- Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10 years Minimum experience architecting web solutions
- 5 years training and mentoring a team of developers, preferably in an agile environment
