AAA Parking is looking for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for the leadership and management of Intercontinental Downtown Los Angeles valet operations. This role involves maintaining client relationships, ensuring an excellent guest experience, and supervising both full-time and part-time employees. The position includes a variety of duties to meet organizational needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Budget and Financial Management:
- Plan programs and projects adhering to approved budgets and schedules.
- Monitor revenue control measures to ensure performance to budget.
- Conduct preliminary reviews of reports, budgets, revenues, and expenses to ensure accuracy.
- Operational Oversight:
- Monitor and maintain timekeeping and schedules.
- Approve or deny payroll and time off requests.
- Ensure meeting deadlines for all weekly and monthly reports.
- Communicate with the hotel team regarding occupancy levels and special events.
- Client and Guest Relations:
- Interact directly with clients to maintain and enhance relationships.
- Proactively follow up with guest issues or concerns to ensure satisfaction.
- Participate in hotel meetings and property improvement projects.
- Staff Management:
- Provide supervision and oversight to the valet team.
- Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
- Promote safety and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Mentor and develop staff, identifying potential candidates for promotion.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in management or related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of parking experience and 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record (manual transmission experience required).
- Computer Skills:
- Basic typing and word processing skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Windows.
Physical Appearance: All employees must present a professional, well-groomed appearance.
Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds and regularly walk, stand for long periods, talk, hear, taste, and smell.
Salary : $72,000 - $78,000
