Seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team! As our Human Resources Assistant, you will be working with the Human Resources department to help record and maintain pertinent employee information and data, manage job board listings, schedule interviews, and onboard new employee. You will also assist in implementing diverse HR programs, answering questions about HR policies, filing documentation, and maintaining the highest level of integrity. The ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated, ability to handle sensitive information, excellent time-management skills and ability to maintain confidentiality. Has previous Human Resources experience or knowledge, excellent communication skills and high degree of professionalism.

Responsibilities
- Record personal data for employees, including addresses, time off, performance appraisals, and more
- Handle recruiting, job board posting and responses, scheduling interviewing, and conducting basic onboarding for new employees
- Support HR department with documentation, processing paperwork, filing, creating and maintaining records
- Answer phones, relay messages, and manage staff questions on HR-related matters as needed
- Enter required personnel information/data into the HRIS and perform regular audits of documentation
- Create/Maintain an organized office filing system; conduct inventory
- Handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality of documentation and staff issues, other duties as required
Qualifications
- Excellent written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills; ability to type a minimum of 45-60 words a minute
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and excellent customer service skills
- Familiarity with various computer systems, HRIS software and systems, including the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs
- Great adaptability and multi-tasking skills, exudes confidence, a team-player attitude and ability to provide quality service
- Familiarity with Human Resources protocols, laws and regulations
- Detail oriented and able to complete tasks with little or no supervision
- Excellent work ethics and flexible with work schedule
- Familiar with HR practices and procedures
- Fluent in Spanish and military experience is a plus
- High degree of integrity, responsibility and accountability
