ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare and update the annual budget and forecasts, with a focus on capex, payroll, and other significant expenses.
- Build and maintain complex financial models, including a 3-year strategic plan, to support decision-making and perform ad-hoc analysis for various projects.
- Analyze financial results against budget and forecast, identify key drivers of variances and recommend corrective actions to improve outcomes.
- Standardize and streamline budgeting and forecasting processes for all departments to improve data accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify areas of financial risk, create strategies to mitigate risk and share findings.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand needs and build/maintain financial tools and analysis to support budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Track and monitor key financial metrics, identify trends, and share finding with relevant team.
- Prepare presentation materials and schedules for department heads.
- Foster a positive team culture by promoting respectful interactions, collaboration, and contributions toward achieving department and organizational goals.
- Incorporate AAA’s vision, mission and values in day-to-day activities and behaviors; guide and motivate others to remain committed to AAA’s vision mission and values.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Business, Accounting, or Finance or equivalent experience
- 5 years’ experience in financial analysis, with a strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
- Experience in travel, insurance, subscription membership, and/or service organizations
- Proficiency with budgeting software
- CPA, CMA, or CFA preferred.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficient in designing and maintaining intermediate Excel spreadsheets and basic databases.
- Ability to be agile, able to adapt to situations that involve rapidly changing tasks, shifting priorities, competing demands, or transitions into new assignments.
- Ability to challenge assumptions while maintaining an open and learning mindset.
- Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with team members and with partners across all departments.
- Ability to handle confidential documents and information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience successfully collaborating professionally and diplomatically with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to establish, nurture, and optimize key internal and external partnerships and influence organizational change.

- The physical environment is typical of a standard office space. It requires the employee to work inside for the duration of work. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, sitting for more than 50% of the time.
