AAC is seeking a Business Process Subject Matter Specialist (BPSMS), to support DLA PMO Support Services. The BPSMS provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation. Participates as needed in all phases of software development with emphasis on the planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation phases.
Required Skills
- Provides technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments, high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, and implementation advice on exceptionally complex problems that need extensive knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation.
- Collaborates with the PEO in anticipating the needs of senior leadership regarding the planning and coordination of major milestones, intermediate events, senior level meetings, and key issue / risk mitigation planning.
- Partners alongside PEO by providing recommendations to support programmatic direction and objectives recommendations for the program to include business elements, such as focus on cost, schedule, performance, risk, and resources, with services, including the development and recommendations technology enhancements, program organization and communications, functions, staffing, schedule updates, and enhancements to risk management, testing, deployment, and training.
- Interacts with Government Team members to provide information, insight, and advice, customized for the unique and changing needs of DLA’s business, including opportunities in growing information technology business.
- Assists with development and sustainment of PEO policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Provides schedule support services, either in the form of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) or other programmatic schedules approved to ensure all deliverables, activities, constraints are being recorded to ensure requirements are being met for each task.
- Possesses knowledge of Portfolio analyst / acquisition, Defense Acquisition Visibility Environment (DAVE) reporting, Plan of Action and Milestone (POAM) Management, and acquisition Quarterly Training / Acquisition Master Class.
