As the Vice President of Global Go-to-Market Strategy, you will lead and implement a cohesive global strategy to drive organizational growth, brand awareness, and market expansion. This senior leadership role is responsible for aligning marketing, business development, strategic relationships, and business membership initiatives to ensure effective market positioning and achievement of key business objectives.

With oversight of the Marketing and Strategic Relationships teams, the VP will focus on enhancing the business membership value proposition, cultivating global partnerships, optimizing strategies informed by regional market insights, and executing strategic initiatives in alignment with AACSB’s strategic plan. Success in this role will be measured by key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue growth, engagement, and market impact.


Workplace type: Hybrid and will be based in Tampa.


How you will Contribute:


Global Go-to-Market Strategy Development

  • Design and implement an integrated maturity and engagement model to inform organization-wide, go-to-market strategy for new and existing products.
  • Identify growth opportunities in global markets and tailor strategies for regional relevance.
  • Align marketing, business development, and business membership efforts to support engagement, organizational growth, and revenue goals.

Execution of Strategic Initiatives

  • Lead the execution of key strategic initiatives impacting market strategies in alignment with AACSB’s overall strategic plan.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure effective implementation and timely delivery of strategic projects.
  • Monitor and evaluate progress toward organizational KPIs, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet targets.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement by setting clear goals, tracking performance, and celebrating successes.

Regional Market Insights and Product Development Support

  • Serve as a liaison with regional heads and offices to gather and analyze insights on regional market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Use regional insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and member engagement plans.
  • Ensure that regional needs are reflected in the organization’s value proposition and global strategy.
  • Facilitate regular communication and collaboration between global strategy teams and regional leaders.

Enhancement of Business Membership Value Proposition

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and refine AACSB’s business membership offering.
  • Develop and communicate a compelling value proposition that resonates with current and potential business members.
  • Lead efforts to create new benefits, resources, and engagement opportunities for business members, ensuring relevance to their evolving needs.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to promote the business membership value proposition to targeted audiences and expand AACSB’s business member base.

Stakeholder Management and Strategic Partnerships

  • In collaboration with the Director of Strategic Relationships, cultivate high-impact partnerships that enhance AACSB’s reputation, drive value for members, and extend its reach.
  • Strengthen relationships with key external stakeholders, sponsors, and business partners to drive mutual value and engagement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Integration

  • Partner with Learning & Engagement, Membership, Accreditation, and Regional Office teams to align on messaging, value propositions, and growth strategies.
  • Build synergies between marketing, strategic relationships, and business membership teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience across all touchpoints.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in executing large-scale initiatives and market launches.

Marketing Oversight and Brand Positioning

  • In collaboration with the Director of Marketing, develop and execute marketing strategies that increase brand equity, audience engagement, and overall visibility.
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and positioning across global markets.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and measure success against organizational KPIs.

Revenue Growth and Business Development

  • Lead business membership growth and sponsorship acquisition strategies to expand revenue opportunities.
  • Support sponsorship and exhibit sales through targeted strategies and expanded partner networks.
  • Ensure that strategic relationships and marketing activities contribute directly to the organization’s financial goals.

  • Fluency in the English Language.
  • 10 years of senior-level experience in go-to-market strategy, business development, or marketing, preferably within a global organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Proven track record of driving organizational growth through integrated go-to-market strategies and membership value enhancement.
  • Experience executing strategic initiatives aligned with organizational strategy and measuring success through KPIs.
  • Experience working with regional markets and adapting global strategies for local relevance.
  • Strong understanding of global markets, partnership development, and marketing best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to enhance and communicate a compelling membership value proposition.
  • Data-driven decision-making approach with experience using analytics to inform strategy.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% annually.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education, membership associations, or related industries.
  • Advanced degree in Marketing or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Knowledge of global accreditation, education mobility, and international business education.
