AAGI Gymnastics is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Tumble & Cheer Director to lead and grow our program! This role is ideal for someone passionate about tumbling and cheer, with strong leadership skills and a commitment to developing both students and coaches!
Position Details:
- Employment Type: Part-Time (25-29 hours) or Full-Time (30 hours)
- Pay Range: $16-$19 per hour
- PTO & Benefits: Available for Full Time Employees
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the face of the Tumble & Cheer Program, providing leadership and quality control.
- Oversee and support Lead & Flex Coaches, ensuring strong class design and program consistency.
- Manage new member experiences, including first-day introductions, follow-ups, and retention strategies.
- Conduct in-class evaluations for skill progression and new member placements.
- Maintain and update program binders with curriculum, evaluations, and lesson plans.
- Continuously refine and improve the program structure and offerings.
- Support coach development through training and mentorship.
- Conduct daily check-ins with the manager for program updates and improvements.
- Work at least one weekend per month to support events, evaluations, or competitions.
- Stay informed on the new enrollment process and ensure smooth transitions for new members.
- Manage social media engagement through Instagram story updates and community interaction.
- Utilize business and customer service skills to foster a strong connection with families and members.
Qualifications:
- Strong tumbling knowledge (beginner to advanced) with experience in cheerleading or gymnastics.
- Leadership experience in coaching, program management, or staff development.
- Passion for athlete growth and retention within a positive and structured learning environment.
- Ability to evaluate and progress athletes through skill levels effectively.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to update and maintain program materials.
- Comfortable with customer interaction and relationship building.
- Experience with social media engagement is a plus!
