Job Description
As the DMV/ Contract Clerk, you will be handling the legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles. The role ensures that you pay incredible attention to details, have prior experience working in an automotive dealership, able to handle high-volume, fast-paced work environments. The role also requires you to have excellent organizational skills.
Prior DMV/Contracts Processing Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume Automotive Business Office Environment PREFERRED!!
Responsibilities
· Including, but not limited to: Process all new & used vehicles for state registration, processing new & used vehicles
· Processing all registration for new and pre-owned vehicles and/or legal transfer work to the DMV
· Processing all license plate issuing and transfers
· Prepare title work for sold retail vehicles and submit to DMV
· Stays abreast of title regulations; attends seminars & any available training on title regulations
· Reports to management the state of any missing or problem
Requirements
· High School Diploma or GED
· Organization & multi-tasking abilities
· Previous experience/education in DMV
· Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced work environment
· Willingness to take initiative & ability to work independently within a team environment
· Ability to perform job responsibilities and meet deadlines easily
· Detailed follow up
· Follows directions from supervisor and accepts constructive criticism
· Being proactive in your job responsibilities, career, business growth and daily development
