Key Responsibilities
- First Assist in the OR for minimally invasive thoracic and foregut surgeries
- Pre- and post-operative care of thoracic patients
- Inpatient management, including rounding, admissions, and discharges
- Clinic evaluations and patient management
- Collaboration with attending surgeons and multidisciplinary team members
Requirements
- Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Active Connecticut medical license
- Thoracic Robotic Surgery experience
- Strong clinical acumen in thoracic patient management
- Experience with minimally invasive surgery preferred
