Spearheading Operational Improvement
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our operations team as a Plant Superintendent. In this role, you will lead a team of manufacturing technicians and own the performance of a crew in our operations department. Your key responsibilities will include attending production meetings, creating and executing action plans to meet critical metrics, troubleshooting equipment concerns on the fly, developing relationships with technicians, influencing change, and growing technically and as a leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead process work groups consisting of operators and technicians
- Develop and monitor all critical control points to ensure consistency and quality
- Utilize VPO tools to achieve KPI targets and close gaps in performance
- Responsible for financial performance of area
- Oversee preventative maintenance work in area of responsibility
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science discipline
- 1-3 years of experience in Manufacturing preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation; technical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems
- Demonstrated leadership and change management skills
