Description
Position
Objective:
Administer HR and payroll functions within the plant facility as outlined below. Provide administrative support to plant management staff as needed. Manage administrative supply and uniform needs within the facility.

Payroll
Oversee weekly payroll and payroll reporting functions for hourly employees. Including review and approval of weekly payroll preview.
Manage process of hiring employees within the payroll system
Process employment changes (promotions, transfers, schedules, etc.).
Process employee terminations and assign termination checklists.
Validate weekly payroll for outside temporary staffing and submit to agencies as required.
Human Resources
Assist in employee investigations as needed.
Hourly employee recruiting, interviewing, and hiring process to include:
Assist management in completing position requisitions.
Review resumes and schedule interviews.
Process pre-employment requirements
Coordinate onboarding program
Coordinate any referral bonuses as approved.
Manage employee onboarding process, to include:
Initial safety training
PPE, lock, keys, tools assignment
Employee handbook review
Uniform distribution
Locker assignment
Computer access, email, log-in
Process non-exempt employee terminations, including:
Processing termination in Paycom system
Assigning termination documents
Notifying IT Department of termination through Leaver Process
Ensuring all Company property within the employees’ possession is returned on or before last day worked.
Ensure employee removes all personal property on or before last day worked
Employee Engagement
Manage employee engagement programs both off and on-site.
Submit and manage FY engagement budget.
Management of community affairs programs
Administrative Support
Provide miscellaneous administrative support to the Plant Manager and the plant operations.
Maintain and order employee events/office related supplies and equipment for the plant, including making service calls on all office and vending equipment.
If required, greet, and log all guests and visitors to the plant, coordinating Guest Safety/HAACP & GMP Training.
Oversee the distribution of incoming mail and courier deliveries in an efficient and timely manner, as well as ensuring outgoing mail is posted daily.
Ensure all applicable communication is shared as required.
Reporting as required.
Maintain employee uniform contract and supply process.
Maintain training and employee qualification documentation.
Coordinate meals for plant guests as required by management
Other
Other duties as assigned.
Follow and role model adherence to company policies and procedures.
Adhere to all applicable legal regulations.
