Position Title: Clinical Psychologist (PsyD) – Diagnostic Services, ABA Division
Location: Bloomington, MN HQ
Schedule: Full Time and/or Part Time (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST)
Compensation: $120,000 / year
Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PsyD) with a strong background in diagnostic evaluations and developmental assessments to support our interdisciplinary ABA teams. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in administering and interpreting a wide range of psychological and neurodevelopmental assessments and will work closely with our Behavior Analysts and clinical teams to provide accurate diagnoses and guide individualized treatment planning for children and adolescents.
This role is designed for a professional with expertise in evaluating autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays, and related conditions. The position includes opportunities for remote collaboration and tele-assessment, with flexibility for hybrid models depending on client needs.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for clients suspected of having ASD, ADHD, learning disabilities, or other developmental and mental health conditions.
- Utilize standardized tools such as the ADOS-2, Vineland-3, BASC-3, and cognitive/IQ measures to support diagnostic clarity.
- Prepare formal psychological reports, integrating test data, clinical interviews, and collateral information.
- Deliver diagnostic feedback to families in a compassionate and clear manner, including explanation of findings and recommendations for treatment.
- Collaborate with internal ABA and multidisciplinary teams to align diagnostic insights with treatment planning.
- Provide clinical consultation to BCBAs and program directors on psychological and differential diagnoses.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with ethical, legal, and professional standards (including HIPAA).
- Participate in telehealth-based evaluations and team meetings as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (PsyD or PhD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Active and unrestricted license as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of practice.
- Demonstrated experience conducting psychological evaluations for children and adolescents.
- Strong understanding of developmental disorders, including autism, ADHD, and intellectual disabilities.
- Knowledge of ABA and comfort working within behaviorally focused treatment teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex findings clearly to both families and providers.
- Familiarity with electronic documentation and tele-assessment platforms is preferred.
