SUMMER INTERN (no experience required)
Abaci Consulting, Inc. is seeking a full-time, temporary Summer Intern to join our team in Grimes, Iowa. This position will provide an opportunity to gain real world experience in the land development sector of the civil engineering/site-civil field.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Summer Intern you will gain professional experience both in the office and in the field. This will include reviewing land development plans with engineering staff as well as assisting the Land Survey Crew with residential staking and boundary surveys. You must be willing to work outdoors and perform physical tasks while maintaining a professional, positive attitude.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Enrolled in a 4-year engineering program
- Mechanical/math aptitude
- Computer literate, experience with AutoCAD a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work outside in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to carry at least 40 pounds over various terrain
- Occasionally lift at least 80 pounds
