Accounting & Finance Recruiter

Abacus Group is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Recruiter to join our Accounting & Finance team in our Encinitas office. This position is responsible for sourcing and screening candidates for permanent Accounting & Finance positions with our clients.

The successful candidate will have internship and/or professional experience in accounting and/or accounting recruitment and will focus exclusively on permanent positions across all industries and levels of experience.

Responsibilities

• Recruit new candidates and prospect for new job orders/requisitions using internal database and external resources
• Source candidates for open positions in Accounting & Finance
• Utilize job boards, social networking, and referrals to identify top-talent
• Maintain and document candidate communication
• Obtain availability of candidates to interview with clients
• Ensure accurate applicant/candidate/employee records in the front-office system
• Proactively seek new avenues to engage and attract candidates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related
• Previous accounting recruiting experience OR accounting experience
• High energy and motivation
• Superb negotiation capabilities in pitching positions to candidates
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent customer service demeanor
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow through
