Assistant Controller

Our client is a global investment firm. They seek an Assistant Controller to join their Greenwich, CT office.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and financial reporting, financial planning and analysis
• Provide support with cash flow management and cost management
• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, expense management
• Ensure and confirm the accuracy of financial records and reporting
• Work with the investment team as well as fund administrators, auditors, and tax preparers
• Represent the firm and foster authentic relationships that grow the firm’s ecosystem

Requirements

• 3 years of accounting experience
• Combo with Big 4 background preferred
• Hedge fund or private equity industry background
• CPA strongly preferred
