Learning & Development Specialist
Job Summary
As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will report to the Manager of Learning & Development with an emphasis on upskilling for employees in the technical side of Abacus. By driving results through measurable changes in behavior, you will support Abacus' retention of top talent, improve our teams' productivity, and help team members reach their personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Conducting training needs assessments
- Connecting with SME's and departmental leaders to identify skill gaps at an organizational and individual level, setting learning goals and objectives to fill those gaps.
- Regular facilitation and leadership of targeted employee training
- Deepening your skills in using best-in-class resources : writing powerful AI prompts that drive rapid creation of content, leveraging micro-learning techniques to laser focus on needs, and implementing gamification to increase retention, engagement, and results.
- Managing our learning resources library, Abacus University.
- Bottom line – what gets measured gets done and done exceptionally.
