Leadership Role with Dynamic, Well-Respected Local Company!!

A well-respected, local company, in St. Louis, is searching for a Controller to assist in leading their organization. This is the highest-level accounting/finance professional in the company and the search is being conducted due to an upcoming retirement. They plan for this professional to come on board and complement their leadership team.

For this opportunity, a Bachelors Degree in accounting/finance or similar field is mandatory. Masters/MBA/CPA are a plus, 8 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance to similar roles and enjoy working with small to mid-market companies. Even though they are not a “construction company”, experience with construction projects, risk management and job costing

are mandatory. Candidates will need to enjoy being a hands-on leader, be pro-active in their approach, professional and an effective communicator.

You Offer:

• Bachelors Degree in accounting/finance or similar field is mandatory
• 8 years of progressive experience in accounting/finance
• Experience in similar roles and enjoy working in small to mid-market companies
• Enjoys hands-on leadership roles
• Experience to include accounting, finance, analysis, reporting, budgeting
• Experience with or in the construction industry is mandatory including construction project management, risk management and job costing
• Must enjoy serving in a role that collaborates with a variety of professionals
• Effective and positive team leader
• Effective communication skills and strong attention to detail
