Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, with expertise in both high and low voltage applications. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively to ensure the efficient operation of electrical equipment and systems.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on electrical equipment, utilizing precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters.
- Fabricate and modify electrical components as needed to meet project specifications.
- Perform field service tasks, including on-site inspections and repairs of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for complex electrical issues, leveraging mechanical knowledge and hydraulics expertise when necessary.
- Document all work performed, including maintenance logs and service reports, to maintain accurate records of equipment status.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Proficiency in working with high voltage and low voltage applications.
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems and mechanical knowledge is preferred.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments and tools for diagnostics and repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics, including those related to Calypso systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently in a field service environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
