Description :
Coordinate and schedule Switching activities on Distribution's Feeder Infrastructure by working with internal / external customers to ensure the integrity of the Infrastructure. Work closely with internal / external customers to balance Feeder load and maintain the health of the Feeder infrastructure. Conduct complex infrastructure analyses which determine resource allocation and movement depending on results. Closely coordinate and balance workload with restoration performance to ensure a cost competitive organization. Promote safety consciousness and adherence to OSHA and Company safety requirements. Administer the joint bargaining unit's Memorandum of Agreement in an equitable and consistent manner. Coach Bargaining Unit employees on performance improvement opportunities. Required Minimum Qualifications : - Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field of study or High School Diploma / GED and equivalent work experience - years experience in a combination of the following areas : o CIP Annual and CCA Access o FERC Standards of Conduct o Critical Cyber Asset Training - Expert ability with integrity and compliance skills - Advanced ability with analysis and problem solving, communications, commercial, leadership, process / project management and professional skills - Competent ability with leadership skills Preferred Qualifications : - Masters Degree in Engineering or related field of study - Six Sigma Certification Yellow or higher - Journeyman or experience Primary (Essential) Job Functions : (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary by the company.) - Evaluation and Negotiation of Switching Activities with Distribution Areas, Transmission and Substation Operations - Working closely with Dispatchers restoring service during the restoration of Feeder circuits - Ability to meet attendance and storm duty requirements - Ability to work extended hours Secondary Job Functions : - Performs other job-related duties as assigned Job Standards : Performance will be based on successful completion of all job functions up to the productivity standards and timeframes established and directed by Management.
