Press Brake Operator-Kearny, NJ

3rd Shift Role-SAT to WED -11pm to 730am

25 to $30 an hour overtime benefits

Responsibilities :

• The Press Brake operator is responsible for all functions related to the daily production output. This position will require the use of computers, CAD programs, basic hand tools, and measurement instruments.
• Program, setup and operate a CNC Punch Press, preferably AMADA or TRUMPF
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication
• Understanding of limitations and capabilities of punch press machines regarding tooling capabilities, such as clearance dies, countersinks, taps, etc.
• Experience in NC coding with capability to edit to job requirements
• Communicate with production leads on meeting demands and following schedules
• Inspect production parts for defects and meets quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery
• Maintain work area and ensure a clean, safe work environment
• Work with Quality, Environmental, H&S employees to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality
• Has the obligation to be aware of and comply with environmental, safety policies and regulations and endure duties of high-quality standards
