Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will utilize your broad electrical engineering experience to respond to Engineering Service Requests (ESR's) which includes reviewing customer specifications, drawings and requirements in order to develop and configure new and alternative product solutions. You will have responsibility for understanding the application and functionality of the products, and applicable requirements and agency standards of the products. The work model for the role is : Onsite This role is contributing to the ABB Electrification Installation Products division at the Manufacturing Facility in Hackettstown, NJ. You will be mainly accountable for :

• Perform various engineering tasks involving such functions as analysis, design, development and assembly, while working from instructions, drawings, proposals, specifications, and other pertinent information.
• Perform engineering documentation and control activities for electrical schematics, drawings, BOMs, instruction sheets, technical data sheet creation and modification, and Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs) utilizing a global life cycle management system (GPLM).
• Responsible for ensuring that specified engineering criteria are suitable for the proposed application and recommend appropriate design revisions.
• Conduct cross functional design reviews to ensure that proposed design solutions meet all Customer requirements as well as manufacturing standards. Our team dynamics : You will join a talented, dedicated team, where you will be able to thrive.
