This position reports to
Warehouse Manager
Your role and responsibilities
Operate motorized equipment (order picker or reach truck) to move material within the warehouse Communicate with the ABB plants and Merchandising vendors to assess potential quality defects Act as liaison between Merchandising customers and vendors to address and resolve customer quality-related issues Work with cross-functional teams (quality engineers and material compliance personnel) to implement and maintain quality standards Test and inspect incoming and stock materials against defined quality standards Manage defective parts via system controls as quality hold flags or other controls Work with wave planning team to generate return shipments to ABB Plants Organize and manually process Merchandising vendor returns Process Merchandising returns from customers Manage and post Resale GUA counts in both LX and SAP Work with Resale team and leaders to maintain Resale inventory accuracy Follow all safety guidelines and always use appropriate PPE Meet and maintain department quality/productivity standards Perform housekeeping duties throughout the shift and at designated times Provide cross-departmental assistance (returns center, put away and picking) as needed

Qualifications For The Role
- Minimum 1 year experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or equivalency
- Working knowledge of a warehouse management system and Radio Frequency (RF) unit
- Ability to operate power industrial equipment (PIT) – Order picker (preference given to individuals who can operate order picker and reach truck)
- Computer skills Microsoft Office 365 Word and Excel
- Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information/situations in a professional manner.
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds repetitively and frequently.
- Not afraid of heights – Ability to work at all module levels.
- Required to climb, bend, stoop, and stand/walk for extended periods of time throughout shift.
- Detailed and team oriented with ability to multitask as needed
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
- Flexible to work different shifts if necessary and overtime with little or no notice.
