Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Each day, you will coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of specific customer problems. You will also showcase your expertise by giving input on market price developments and tendencies. The work model for the role is: remote This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings and Smart Power division in the United States. You will be mainly accountable for: • Leads and executes the account strategy to increase new OEM account creation and market share growth, profitability, and customer acquisition. ($50MM of accounts) • Sells products/solutions/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets. • Builds long-lasting customer relationships and manages the resolution of their specific needs/issues. • Takes a leadership role training field sales and reps on OEM segment selling tools, initiatives, and products in assigned territory. • Participates in the development of sales strategies for the account through providing current business and long-term plans of the customer. • Defines and proposes sales targets for the account and ensures their achievement through a structured follow-up process across divisions and countries. • Creates added value for the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g., frame agreements, sales planning, and issue resolution). • Drives application of standardized marketing & sales processes and tools (Salesforce, account plans, etc.) for the account.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, and/or Business or high school diploma with 20 years of industry experience
- 15 years of industry experience
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
