Elastimold® products made in Hackettstown are an integral connective piece to a resilient and smart grid. Found on power poles and underground power lines, our products are primarily used by electric utility companies to deliver power to homes and businesses. Our advanced equipment is smart grid ready and being used by utilities across the country to form the connective tissue of the future electric grid.
Your Responsibilities
· Responsible for ongoing analysis and follow up of rejected components, including recommendations for corrective action. Assist in corrective action resolution.
· Use precision measuring instruments as required.
· Perform dimensional inspections using hand instrumentation, as required.
· Perform inspection on manufactured and/or purchased parts, writing reports as required.
· Formulate relevant reports of the inspections including DMRs and Supplier Quality Performance.
· Resolve issues resulting from non-conforming inspections with the appropriate supplier or customer.
· Determine salvageability of defective items, as assigned.
· Must understand and perform all job requirements in compliance with ISO 9001.
· Provide all pertinent Quality information to customers and suppliers through means of discrepancy reports & shipping manifests, as required.
Your Background
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Must be able to facilitate and communicate well with production, supervisors, and co-workers
· Strong computer, problem solving, and analytical skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2 years of experience in a Quality Control or Manufacturing environment
