Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for project execution, contract compliance, customer satisfaction and financial return for one or more complex and/or large projects. You will also coordinate activities and provide technical advice to project participants, develop,
recommend and implement initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction, and improve performance.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for project execution, contract compliance, customer satisfaction and financial return for one or more complex and/or large projects. You will also coordinate activities and provide technical advice to project participants, develop,
recommend and implement initiatives to ensure customer satisfaction, and improve performance.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries division.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Electrical design and integration of systems into E-Houses and control buildings housing switchgear, automation or telecom equipment. Cable ducts, lighting panels, circuit breaker panels, FACP integration, HVAC integration and more.
- Relay integration and programming for protection and various control schemes
- Plan, support and/or coordinate major project requirements and specifications. Determine most effective means of accomplishing objectives, develop schedules for technical deliverables, conduct and coordinate related activities. Ensure that overall efforts are in concert with customer and Company requirements.
- Develop detailed engineering documentation including: Single Line Diagrams, Power System Studies (Arc Flash, Load Flow, Short Circuit, etc.), Network Diagrams, Protective Device Settings, and Substation Layouts.

Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering degree
- 5 years of experience in engineering, working as an Electrical Engineer doing detailed design
- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools related to HV/MV/LV switchgear, motor controls, VFDs, transformers, or electrical SCADA systems
- Professional engineering license is preferred
- Candidates must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Position will be based in Houston, TX
- Reimbursement for relocation is not available
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
