Cast Urethane (Casting)
SUMMARY:
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently and thrives in a team environment. The ability to be detail oriented while performing repetitive work is a crucial requirement for this individual’s success. Able to understand instructions and comfortable asking questions whenever necessary. This individual will participate in achieving production levels as required by management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Follow the formulations and procedures of casting urethane.
· Pour material into multiple cavity mold.
· Keep count and report what is being produced on a daily basis.
· Keep an eye of material and supply in department.
· Ensure material is available for the next shift.
· Placing a mold in press or oven as required.
· Place all manufactured parts in oven end of day for post curing.
· Meet production goals as stated by the production supervisor and program manager.
· Communicate all updates, issues, concerns to supervisor.
· Follows all company policies and procedures.
· Maintains a safe, clean, organized work area.
· Able to work overtime as required.
· Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 1 - 3 years of similar experience, preferred.
· Must be able to measure and weight tools.
· Must maintain a good attendance.
DESIRED SKILLS:
· Quick Learner
· Neat and Organized
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE:
· High School degree.
· Previous experience with basic hand and power tools.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Ability to lift and manipulate 49 lbs. or 50 lbs. (team lift)
· Must have steady hands.
· Good vision
· Stand 8 hours plus per workday.
· Wear PPEs
· Comfortable in a machine shop/warehouse environment
