Responsibilities:
- Assist with implementation of safety plans
- Assist with safety observations on a regular basis
- Perform safety walks and inspections before or during each shift
- Assist with educating employees on safety standards and expectations
- Assist with recommendations for improving safety in the workplace
- Assist with incident investigations that occur onsite and learn OSHA protocols
- Assist with documentation of the company's safety procedures, accidents, and related events
Qualifications:
- Actively seeking or recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in environmental, engineering, health and safety or a related field, and cumulative GPA of 2.5 or greater
- Classification as a sophomore or higher
- Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
