Abbington Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center -
We are an 82 bed skilled nursing facility looking for a dietary manager to lead our dietary department. Responsibilities include production and service of high-quality meals to our residents, supervising and training dietary employees, purchasing food and supplies, and ability to provide a sanitary and infection free environment. The Dietary Manager is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities Include :
- Work in a collaborative manner with the Consultant R.D. on the dietary needs of the residents.
- Assume the authority, responsibility , and accountability of directing the dietary department.
- Ensure the dietary department meets all expectations and requirements established by the local Health Department, IDPH, and other regulatory agencies.
- Serve meals as planned and on time according to the menu cycle and according to the resident's prescribed diet.
- Oversee and maintain food budget guidelines for the department.
- Supervise and monitor the work of departmental personnel to ensure compliance with established practices and procedures.
