Job Description:
American Accord Food Corp is seeking a full-time Operations Manager to oversee daily operations for our Meals on Wheels program. This role includes managing kitchen production, supervising staff, coordinating client services, and ensuring compliance with all administrative and health standards.
You will receive hands-on training to learn company-specific systems, but are expected to lead daily operations independently while supporting senior management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure adherence to food safety, quality, and production standards.
- Oversee daily meal preparation, inventory control, vendor relationships, and food storage.
- Coordinate fleet vehicle fueling and maintenance schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain compliance with local and state health regulations.
Client and Administrative Management:
- Manage inventory ordering, supply tracking, HR documentation, and insurance paperwork.
- Oversee client communications, including order intake, menu coordination, and customer service support.
- Maintain organized office operations such as phone management, record-keeping, and paperwork processing.
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internal systems for scheduling, reporting, and inventory management.
Technology and Compliance Oversight:
- Manage company technology including computers, printers, and tablets.
- Ensure quality assurance standards are consistently met in kitchen and delivery operations.
Support to Senior Management:
- Assist General Management with operational improvements and special projects.
- Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as needed to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish (required).
- Prior experience in food service management, logistics, operations, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
