The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 – $120,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.

Our location in Northwest Georgia currently has an opportunity for a Pediatric Nutrition Sales Specialist. This position is responsible for the promotion, management, and growth of Abbott Nutritional products in pediatric hospital and office settings.
Responsibilities
- Developing and supporting territory sales goals in each hospital and office service area for Similac, PediaSure and Pedialyte.
- Hospital negotiations and contracting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines as well as the ability to deliver the information in a selling environment.
- New product launches.
- An understanding of the hierarchy of hospital departments such as NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries and Nursing units. The ability to work effectively with Dietitians, Physicians and Nurses.
- Effective administrative skills.
- Budget management.
- Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy.
- Desire to be self- motivated, seeking out success at achieving both short and long term goals.
- This territory will focus on cities in Northwest Georgia such as Calhoun, Cartersville, Dalton, Kennesaw, and Rome.
- It will also cover cities in Northeast Alabama such as Gadsen and Guntersville.
- The ideal candidate would be based in Northwest Georgia.
- 5-10% overnight travel for District/Regional meetings & trainings
- Local candidates only, please. Relocation is not available for this role.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- The ideal candidate would have 2-3 years of sales experience in a medical setting, working with Supply Chain and Health Care Professionals AND/OR Clinical Experience.
- Registered Dietitians and Registered Nurses in Pediatric/NICU/Labor & Delivery units are strongly encouraged to apply
- Knowledge of hospital/office settings, specifically within pediatrics a plus.
