Recruiter III

Our location in Abbott Park, IL currently has an opening for a Recruiter III. The Recruiter III will develop and implement sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates to meet established business goals, objectives and approved requisitions.

Location: Abbott Park, IL

Duration: 8 months

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle recruiting, from the requirement definition, through offer negotiation with simple or standard compensation packages, to hire, using Abbott's ATS and CRM
• Develop and implement sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract qualified external candidates to meet established business goals, objectives and approved requisitions
• Oversee the pre-employment process (background check, references, etc.)
• Recommend fair, competitive offer based on internal equity and external market-based pay
• Ensure accurate and timely data is recorded in Abbott’s requisition and applicant tracking system for compliance and reporting metrics
• Deliver services within Abbott’s model, technology, and processes and be the main point of contact for internal clients at the first line manager level
• Support the hiring process to provide a good candidate experience
• Operate independently with minimum supervision
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required. Master's and/or SHRM certification preferred.
• 2-6 years of high-volume recruitment experience
• Expertise in creating targeted postings on job boards and social networks to attract active candidates and develop them up to the point of closing
• Prior agency and corporate recruiting experience preferred
• Workday experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Ability to maintain professionalism and quality of work in high volume, fast-paced environment
