The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Sourcing Manager in Sylmar, CA or Irvine, CA or Scottsdale, AZ in the CRM Division. This is a fully onsite role.

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for defining and executing multi-year category strategy roadmap on assigned component categories to include all facets of strategic procurement, including but not limited to : value creation, cost reduction, alignment with business strategy, risk mitigation, and supplier performance.
What You’ll Work On
- Implements category, negotiation, and sourcing strategies of assigned material categories in alignment with business and manufacturing short-term and long-term objectives
- Identifies, analyzes and develops the appropriate supplier base to meet current and future commodity needs, taking into consider new technologies, end of life product cycles, and site localization objectives
- Directs and executes the negotiation and management of contracts / agreements for assigned commodities with medium to high risk and medium to high complexity
- Provides guidance and support to manufacturing site(s) purchasing team for clear alignment on category strategy execution, supplier communications and messaging, supplier performance escalations, and other supply chain activities
- Develops clear risk identification and management strategies for short and long term with defined risk / benefit analysis in support of Supply Resilience initiative
- Performs analyses of costs related to labor rates, charges, time, and cost of materials
- Monitors supplier capability and performance to ensure maintenance of delivery, quality, price, and other contractual commitments
- Maintains and promotes sound relationships with extensive network of suppliers and business community. Connects other team members with potential suppliers
- Leads projects to assure all procurement activities are performed as required
- Creates and maintains mutually beneficial long-term partnerships with suppliers to foster feedback, continuous improvement, and innovation
- Develops cross-functional teams to understand and to document division-wide needs
- Understands, tracks, and forecasts the key cost drivers and market factors for assigned commodities
- Compiles market condition information regarding commodities and suppliers and suggests / implements business strategy changes
- Responsible for the development of materials policies and procedures
- Support all Company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements.
- Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
- Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
