Job Responsibilities:

- Managing, coaching and developing a team of 3-6 Supply Chain professionals.
- Provides strategic and tactical leadership for the supply planning activities of designated products / brands within the pharmaceutical supply chain based on interpretation of demand requirements.
- Own Supply Chain Planning activities to maintain required product availability and to meet strategic and financial needs of each product or brand whether manufactured within AbbVie’s Internal Manufacturing Network (IME) or at Third Party manufacturers (TPMs).
- Achievement of key performance indicators for product availability at AbbVie point of sale, customer service/on time delivery, back order, on time supply of product from manufacturing sources, plan stability at sources and inventory plan achievement.
- New Product Introduction management to meet strategic and financial needs of each product or brand and assurance of supply availability at time of launch.
- Collaborates and interacts with affiliates.
- Input into Global Sales & Operations Planning process and assigned Brand Team performance.
- Drive continuous improvement culture and initiatives, lead and participate in improvement initiatives and projects.
- As part of the Supply Chain Planning management team provide leadership and oversight on various aspects of the business for the team as a whole.

- Bachelor or Master level preferably in Operations, Supply Chain or Business Management
- MBA or APICS certification - desired
- 8 years’ experience in Operations, Supply Chain Management and/ or Financial Management with people management experience
- Hands-on experience applying lean manufacturing, 6-Sigma, and advanced planning and control methods
- Excellent leadership and people management/development skills are required
- Proven capability to manage and implement change management programs
- Ability to interact successfully in a global environment and with senior level management to effectively influence and manage change
- Excellent communication skills
