What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at ABC Air Conditioning & Heating Specialist Inc.?
We are looking for a reliable office assistant/staff person to work in a busy and growing air conditioning office with 5 other people. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working both well with others and also on their own. They will be self-motivated, trustworthy and contribute to driving sustainable growth. This person also needs to be able to take direction and be willing to learn the procedures of our office.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Help set appointments for service calls and work for the company
- Answer phone calls and help answer emails as well.
- Help pull mechanical permits with various county and city agencies for jobs.
- Help to create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data.
- All around office work
- Be able to work with others in a team environment.
Qualifications and Skills
- Office experience
- Have worked in HVAC office before
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Familiarity with general office procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of Excel, ServiceTitan are ideal.
- Qualifications in secretarial duties
- High school diploma and at least some college experience preferred
