Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate female a 40 hour (or shared) Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) position in Scarborough. This role is essential in providing support to children and families dealing with behavioral health challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health, special education, or social work, and will be committed to fostering a positive environment for growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to a specific child with behavioral health needs.
- Assist parent in managing behavior and teaching skills.
- Implement behavior management strategies and applied behavior analysis techniques per client's plan.
- Collaborate with other professionals (teachers, providers) to implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and interventions.
- Participate in training sessions and supervision as required.
Skills
- Experience in special education and/or home settings.
- Experience in behavior management techniques and applied behavior analysis.
- Familiarity with working with nonverbal individuals on the autism spectrum.

BHP Training is provided for those candidates who are not yet certified.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
