What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Care Office Assistant position at ABC Child Care, LLC?
Office Assistant will work under the Director and Assistant Director. Office Assistant will have split duties. Afternoon duties in office after Director leaves for day, and picking up extra hours helping in classrooms when needed. Shift could be part time 2-5pm M-F or full time with hours in classroom in am, then office in pm. This position requires you to be Lead Teacher qualified and on the WI Registry.
Office Duties:
* Preform duties assigned by Director and Assistance Director
*Be Lead person in charge of center after Director leaves for the day
*Managing Staff, getting staff off the clock
*Be able to communicate with parents on regular basis
*Answer phone/take messages
* Cover late afternoon in classrooms as needed
* Helping with cleaning of classrooms
*Making sure licensing rules are being followed
*Stay till 5/5:15 daily
*Help with center laundry (no on-site laundry)
*Confidentiality on all matters discussed in office
*Meet with Directors on concerns in center
Classroom Duties
*Provide basic care to children
*Knowledge of child development
*Strong communication and time management skills
*Patience, flexible, and love for children
*Excellent communication with parents
*Maintain clean, orderly classroom
*Follow our classroom routines
*Assist in bathrooms and diapering
*Adhere standards and safety regulations
*Adhere to our Teaching
*Must be lead teacher qualified, and on the Registry
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
