Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and overall childhood development.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with disabilities and special education needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in child care education.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Experience working with students in a private school setting is a plus.
- Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques tailored for young children.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable.
- Passion for childhood development and the ability to foster a love of learning in young children.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
