Duties

• Develop and implement lesson plans that promote literacy, math, and overall childhood development.
• Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement strategies.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with disabilities and special education needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all students.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in child care education.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Experience working with students in a private school setting is a plus.
• Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques tailored for young children.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff members.
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is highly desirable.
• Passion for childhood development and the ability to foster a love of learning in young children.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
