Floater Teacher Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support our childcare team in fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping be successful in all that they do. This role is essential in assisting teachers in various classrooms and being able to adapt to any environment while working with all age groups.

Duties

• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Encourage and support children in their social interactions, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Work closely with other educators and staff to ensure a collaborative, supportive environment for children.
• Follow all licensing regulations and center policies regarding health, safety, and behavior management.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and staff meetings.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred but will train the right candidate
• A passion for working with children and a commitment to their development and well-being.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and age groups.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Be willing to complete all necessary trainings
• A clear background check and references are required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.76 - $18.51 per hour
