What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Toddler Teacher position at ABC Me Grow Child Daycare and Learning Center?
ABC Me Grow is searching for passionate, nurturing, and motivated individuals to join our team! Experience is a plus, but not required. We will train the right person! We are currently hiring for a Assistant Toddler Teacher. You will be assisting in the toddler classroom which is from 18 months to 2 1/2 years old. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can grow, learn, and feel comfortable while in our care. Pay rate is based on any experience, trainings, and degrees the candidate holds.
Monday through Friday
Job Responsibilities:
- Care & Supervision of the children in the classroom.
- Work well with a team, and comfortable following directions, stepping in to help the lead teacher in the classroom.
- The ability to have patience with the children in your care as well as the ability to redirect them in a positive manner.
- Guide and facilitate children through social, emotional, and cognitive learning.
- Follow state guidelines as well as school policies.
- Communicate appropriately with parents, teachers, and administration to ensure the best care for the children.
- Assist with Daily activities
- Change Diapers & assist with potty training.
- Cleaning & Sanitizing classrooms and toys.

Job Qualifications:
- Childcare Experience preferred
- Patient, friendly, and reliable.
- Must love children.
- Must get CPR Certified within first 60 days
- Clean Background, will be required to get fingerprinted for background check.
- Willingness to learn, attend meetings, and complete required trainings.
- Reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.60 - $16.50 per hour
