Position Overview:
The Operations Director (OD) is a full-time salary position responsible for ensuring smooth operations for the company's roofing, gutter, and solar projects. The OD will work closely with employees, clients, and subcontractors to ensure the efficient execution of projects. This position will report directly to the CEO and CFO, collaborating with senior management to drive profitability, maintain high production standards, and meet operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- The OD for the Company shall be a position which works directly with employees and clients as well as other company partners.
- Responsible for building relationships, overseeing, and working directly with company approved sub contractors, superintendents, and other production and sales management staff.
- Responsible for overseeing the production and implementation of ABC production processes directly related to roofing, gutter and solar installations performed by ABC and or sub contractors.
- Responsible to follow, organize and or oversee systems/processes/staff concerning the installing of roofing, gutters, and solar for the company and any other trade partners the company installs for.
- Ensure all jobs run smoothly for the client and the Company by having proper staffing and material ordering/delivery processes in place in order to complete jobs in a profitable, safe, and timely manner which leads to positive feedback and referrals from our customers.
- Responsible for giving insight and feedback on estimating and sales processes directly related to Company operations.
- Responsible for overseeing the production and implementation of calendars and timelines of job scheduling for the Company.
- Work directly with the CEO to create a Production Employee Organization Chart (PEOC) for all employees associated with production. The OD will be personally responsible to implement the PEOC and oversee it.
- Work directly with the CEO to create specific job descriptions and responsibilities for all production employee types listed on the PEOC.
- Personally responsible to assign, implement, and oversee that all production employees follow their respective job descriptions.
- Will meet with the CEO and other management staff once a week for a meeting to review all active current, upcoming and closing projects.
- The OD will assist the CEO and other management with the companies employee hiring, training and disciplinary practices including quarterly employee reviews.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Experience in overseeing construction, roofing, or similar production processes.
- Ability to organize and streamline processes for maximum efficiency.
- Proficiency in working with field and office staff, as well as estimators.
- Knowledge of project management and production systems.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work closely with subcontractors, clients, and other partners.
COMPENSATION - $80,600
Salary - $1,550.00 weekly bonuses / commissions (90 day probation)
