At Sigmaways Inc, we are seeking a skilled Operations Director to drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations. This role is critical in maintaining plant efficiency, optimizing equipment performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Maintenance Department to ensure efficient operations and implement process optimization strategies.
- Manage Capital Expenditure (CapEx) programs, including budget planning and regular financial updates.
- Develop and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with the Plant Leadership Team to align maintenance strategies with business objectives and drive productivity improvements through strategic initiatives.
- Ensure strict compliance with environmental and safety regulations, and diagnose complex equipment issues to resolve them efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).
- Minimum 6 years of experience in manufacturing/project engineering, including 2 years in a leadership role.
- Experience with SAP for maintenance planning and asset management.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and their applications in manufacturing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
- Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage a team of employees, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and resource allocation.
