JOB SUMMARY : The Manufacturing Engineer II position is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing industrial processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety at our ABCorp Boston facility.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties required :
- Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs. This will primarily be through process efficiency improvements and waste reduction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Investigate and troubleshoot process problems.
- Collect data required to monitor process performance and make improvements and / or modifications.
- Read and interpret schematics and equipment manuals to direct required maintenance and service.
- Communicate with operations management team and other maintenance personnel on a timely basis to facilitate maintenance repairs and improvements.
- Comply with and enforce company safety policies.
- Develop and improve equipment validation procedures including calibration and qualification.
- Become Expert Level Trainer on all machines in assigned area and be responsible for the level of knowledge of Shift technicians. Provide hands-on support to maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve extended downtime situations.
- Key member of the new equipment launch team, expected to become the resident expert of those machines /
